Experience & Background

Since graduating with a 2:1 at Southampton Solent University, I have worked within the Retail and Food sector, however these
have been tech based. The last year I have worked to pivot my career and combine my interests to pursue software engineering
as my future path. I thoroughly enjoy the creative problem-solving aspect of software development, understanding data
structures and taking a very keen interest in data practices.

I am dedicated to learning and I’m currently looking for work after finishing up Software Engineering Bootcamp course with a
large emphasis on cloud computing. This peaked my interest in data analysis and am now taking Google’s ‘Data Analytics’
course. I also finished a Python Beginners Course with the City of Bristol College earlier in the year. I have completed
Microsoft’s AZ-900 and AZ-207 certificates. In addition to this I adhere to a self-directed schedule of learning through online
platforms where I am currently working through Advanced Excel, SQL, Power BI/Tableau and R.

Day to day at my admin/data role, I answer phones to customers, respond to emails, schedule appointments, and manage
calendars. I provide administrative support to staff, which includes helping employees with tasks such as creating and editing
documents, preparing presentations, and managing databases. I also Track and report on key metrics, this may involve tracking
sales data, inventory levels, and customer satisfaction ratings. I deal with monthly reporting stock/returns and reaching target
KPI’s. I am proficient in Microsoft 365 including, Excel, Word, Access and Microsoft AD.

Coming from a musical background, I find programming complements my creativity and I create and release electronic music
as well as host a regular radio show on an independent Bristol station. Having combined ADHD gives me the ability to focus
on details; learning programming in my own time through online and in person courses has fine-tuned my logic and reasoning
skills. Creative thinking within fast paced environments is where I thrive. I am able to manage my workload, whilst always
remaining self- driven.

I have built a strong interest in software engineering and am ready for an opportunity where I can gain experience and work
towards a qualification within an innovative and forward-thinking organization. My career so far has given me the skills to engage
and communicate with a wide variety of people. As an individual I am diligent and able to apply myself quickly; attributes which
I feel would be beneficial to this role. I am looking to progress through a company, and committed to growth.
